Monogram
Monograms symbolize everything from people to companies, colleges and religious figures.
Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, used as recognizable symbols or logos. A series of uncombined initials is properly referred to as a cypher (e.g. a royal cypher) and is not a monogram
Assignment

In Adobe Illustrator you will

Start with a typeface you feel would make a good monogram for you

Convert the type to outlines and modify the letter to interlock like a traditional monogram

At lease 2 of the letters must interlock or cross in some manner

Try to stay away from fonts Myriad and Arial

Create a PDF

Upload your monogram that you created using Adobe Illustrator to Jupitergrades

Requirements​

The PDF should be named "yournameMonogram"

There must be a summary explaining your monogram and why you feel that way and how the image is a visual representation of you.
Description of Project
Students will create a PDF that contains an image that exemplifies themselves in a monogram. They will then explain how the image is visually communicating what they are feeling or trying to express.
