Faces and Places

Students will take a photos of their favorite places and a photo of themselves or someone else.

Using techniques learned in the Photoshop demo given during class students will create a double exposure of these photos.

Here's a tutorial for this project, I would use this one or the next one. The original tutorial is too fast and a little confusing so I'd use this one or the next one.

Another video example that is simpler.

Just as a note, Drag the photos into Photoshop from the file folder, this seems to work better for some reason rather than opening it directly in Photoshop. Probably becuase it imports it in as an object. The example on the right was created using this tutorial.

Original Double Exposure Effect - Photoshop Tutorial, this tutorial goes much further in depth than the demo but will give you more techniques to create much more complex images much like the ones they will find on instagram and such. This one is more complex than the above tutorial. But the look is more dramatic.
